Yesterday evening news, and today early morning newspaper, gave me a great revelation; how rich I am.. I find myself exburent at this sudden realisation; courtesy, Tendulkar Committee Report from Planning Commission of India.
Great, that means INR 31/- per day is what needs to survive.. Strangely, this is something that dawned on me, that there might be people, who do not even have Rs. 31/- per day to spare.. and, look, i have 200 bucks, in my wallet today.. Of course I am not poor, and neither is that unskilled labour, who has nothing to own, and lives on 90/- per day.. nor are the child labours earning 40-50 bucks everyday... And for the statistics' sake, all the beggers are not poor: the lepers, the blinds, and the kids, who lives on the alms around traffis signals and live on the footpath... they assuredly earn more than 31 rs, everyday..
Thereby, my dear friends, we live in so rich a country, where 133 gm of rice, with 20 gm of dal and 30gm of potatoes, with 15gm of onions and 15 gm of tomatoes full us with nourishment.. and add 85ml of milk to the daily diet... See, how rich we are...
And yeah, we do not need any fuel, or transportation, or home to live in.. The climatic conditions of our nation is so kind for such wasteful luxuries. And who the hell needs education, or telecommunication, or entertainment.. They are just something meant for Gods, not for petty humans!!
Glad that I live in the welfare state of India. Or how could I have survived in a discriminating nations where the rich and poor have such a narrow difference.. And WELL FED(!!) PEOPLE LIKE US ON RS 31/- PER DAY ARE DEEMED TO BE BELOW POVERTY LINE..
Oh I am so happy today.. Feels like, salvation is near(with so little food, only yogis could be so excited).. Baba Ramdev, you have done a great job teaching Yoga.. Please conjure an Asana which would nourish us as well..

End of An Era: Steve Jobs
The fabled genius, who supposedly completed the half bitten Apple-logo, now leaves the Apple.. How can the master-mind behind i-tronics be ever forgotten.
Over the past decade, Apple redefined the course of mobile computing and digital entertainment, setting the bench-mark for the envy of the business world and America's second-most valuable company, after Exxon Mobil.
The apple products, today indispensible business tools among the elite; have all created a flurry of class, quality and value for money. I-pod remains the synonym of a mp-3 player in the households, and a Mac, a desire of all gazette freaks. The I-pad brought in a new era of tablet PCs. Furthermore, an I-phone is simply unbeatable in the smartphone category worldwide.
A Reed College drop-out, this Buddhist could assimilate the calmness of a monk and the acumen of a tycoon. His visions has always been two steps ahead of his rivals, inspiring innovation, renovation and progression of technology for an easier life of his faithful customers and clients. Will Apple, or for the same reason, the electronic industries globally, be able to find another Jobs.
"The answer my friend, is Blowing in The Wind."
Analysis of an unnecessary comment
Ms. Roy's article in "The Hindu' has indeed instigated an unnecessary debate over media and web-portals between the intellects of the nation and abroad.. Although, Ms Roy has very strongly put forth her views, they can very easily be negated, by any person who has read through the histories of all revolutions of the world..
Whenever a person has arisen with a new flag against a regime, He has been declared insane, rebellion, fool, corrupt, selfish, and various such other names.. But victory always has been to the verdict of the masses.. No other reason, that after French Revolution, and end of Aristocracy, Napolean took over, and was later removed by the French. Joseph Stalin could not fool the Russians for long. On the other hand, Gandhi could fight till the very end of the British Crown over India, and still has been an icon towards all indians look.
In the recent times, we have seen downfall of a few dictators in the third world countries, which have been supported by intellectuals all round, even our national icons(read: Booker Winners). What beholds them exactly from supporting a similar movement in their own country, which is against an difficile regime.
Comparing this campaign to Maoists, has been one of the biggest mistakes, as far as I think, because, this movement has never entered any violence; nor Anna’s campaign aims to hurt any of the innocent or the guilty; much unlike the Maoists, which does not care about either, very easily allowing collateral damages.
Is this a frantic attempt to enter an arena after being long left out, by criticizing the fore-runners of the same. Might be.
Or, is it some way to get patronage of the government? We are very well aware that Ms. Roy has never been on the good-books of the authorities.
Or, is it just a cheap publicity stunt? I find Ms. Roy too respectable for that.
Well whatever it might be, Ms. Roy must have lost a few blind supporters (like me)to her words, by now.

Ten Years of Writing Poetry
With great pleasure, I announce, that, today, I have completed 10 years of writing poems...
It was back in 2001, Third week of August, that I wrote my first Poem, a childish effort to rhyme.. "The Lame Rabbit" which was inspired from D H Lawrence's Story and also from a Poem titled "Lizards" by Vibhu Padhi..
However, it took me a few months, before i actually could rhyme, and then I wrote, a very special Poem, "The Monkey's Paw" inspired from a Play of same Title.. My friends from St. Xavier's would remember it.. And courtesy, Mrs. Uma Verma, who gave me few tips and tricks on how actually to write a poem, I began to tread the path..
Next few years saw me trying to rhyme, or to even write.. With a few cynism, and applauses both coming from almost same ends, I was able to improve, although, those day's creations lie waste in the chest of my old diaries..
The imagination, began catching my pen, during depressions.. And as I remember well, most of the verses, that I regard good, have come during the time i actually was depressed.. I fact, the first anthology, which shall soon be out, is almost totally been written in feats of meloncholy..
Today, my family and friends, all support me to brim, in my passion.. And I am heavily indebted to my friends, for their critical appreciation as well as improvisation tips.
Hoping to give you all my first Compilation "In and Out of Bounds- A quest of tranquillity" soon.
Thanking You All..
Thanking my Life..
Thanking Lord Above..

an epidemic in question
numerous times in the past, the government machinery is amptuated at the hands of the existing laws, which incapables the to act immediately and effectively. So is the case of mysterious virul that plagues the children of muzaffarpur, bihar.. A death of 49 within a span of fifteen days, all suspected diseases ruled out by clinical and laboratory examinations, and no provision to allow the brain tissue of deceased kids be examined, the scenario assuredly is pathetic, and has left the concerned authorities in a fix.
This calls for the invokation of a 114 year old 'Epidemic Disease Act,1897'; which empowers the investigation team/authorities to go to any extent, that he deems fit and proper, as to prevent and curb the epidemic in question; including an autopsy be allowed to be performed on the dead kids, which is not allowed under general medical laws.
The history of the Act beinq invoked is not new, nor exceptional. In the recent past, it was invoked by the government of maharashtra in august,2009, in the district of pune and satara, when the H1N1 Swine flu engulfed the area and led to a major crisis.
Even the requirement of examining the brain tissue is not new, and in fact was the actual need which had led to the enactment of the Act in question. As we can now say, a history repeats itself and thereby, the present crisis may be termed an epidemic soon.

51st BAT Foundation Day
Invited over facebook, I had the opportunity to witness the inauguration of 51st foundation day of Bihar Art Theatre at Kalidas Rangalaya, patna; the event being celebrated through a mini drama festival lasting five days.
However, although it was disappointing to see a very less number of audience, the acting capabilities of the theatrics and their zeal was worth cudos. Mr. Ajit Ganguly has spent his life for BAT, and it is hoped that one day, it wil gain the glamour of its glorious 70's and 80's.
The inaugural drama 'Bin Dulhan ki Shadi'( a marriage minus bride ) is a comical sattire, glorifying the importance of love and acceptance of cohabitation rather than dead rites and rituals.. Written by late Anil Kr Mukherji and directed by Subhash Krishna, the story in a nutshell is that a young guy is in love and his ex-army father comes to know of it.. He wants him to leave college and marry a girl of his choice. However, the son is adamant to marry his love, and thus, Mr Pralayankar puts a condition that, if Pranjal is able to marry within 24 hours, the marriage wil be accepted by him, else not..
Now, as the girl is not in the city, a solution is brought forward by Pranjal's partner-in-crime, Jhankaar, with the help of the girl's father, a crazy Prof. Paanch. Finally, a marriage is held in absence of the bride, and Mr. Pralayankar is convinced of the reality and the existence of the marriage, mathematically.
The setup of the drama was very convincing, and an assortment of alive expressions by promising young actors made it a delight for the audience.. Ajit Da was good as ever and Mrityunjay and Anupam gave a great show. Although a wide spectrum of improvising is there, and, the artists need to work out the linguo in order to familiarize with the audience.
Concluding, i would like to add, that the promising artist raise the hope that the future of BAT is bright and glamourous.

1st Bihar Diwas: A new dawn!!
Never in the 98 years of History of Bihar, where I was born and nurtured; has the commemoration of the state been observed, let alone a celebration at such a large scale, globally. And this probably is the awakening of the "Bihari"; a creed that has been so prominent to the nation, and yet so ignored.
This could be a moment of the development of the sub-nationalism of Bihar, a thread that shall bind all of the land. Already, the past few years have given the residents and the non-residents of this state a reason to walk with the head held high.
It seems so unbelievable, that one of the center of administration and trade, till the early 20th century; how could a province was left so behind, when its counter-parts grew steadily. It may be attributed to shallow politics, and negligent behaviour of the concerned authorities.
In the able hands of Mr Nitish Kumar, the mass of bihar has been finding solace and security. The past five years have seen a development in the infrastructure of transportation, and Law & Order; which in the CM's words is the basic foundation for the future construction of the State. The next step for the step, in the 2nd tenure of the NDA government has been the Education and the Health infrastructure. The begining has been done this Bihar Diwas, with the launch of 'Nayee Peedhi Swasthya Guarantee Karyakram'( the New Generation Health Guarantee Programme), which calls for the children upto 14 years and adolescent girls be provided with a health card for their medical check-up and treatment free-of-cost at government hospitals.
The only thing we can say for our state is, "better late than never". The old educational hub of Bihar shall once again rise from the ashes and will enlighten the world with the golden glaze of this land of Buddha and Mahavira. What we have seen in past few years is just the beginning.
The "Bihar Diwas" is nothing less than a Rekindled Glow of a Lost Glory. The supply of fresh air shall see the Torch of Progress and Development in the Land of Mauryas, and the Guptas.
